Intracardiac echocardiography refers to the placement of an ultrasound probe through blood vessels in the heart cavity to perform ultrasound imaging of the heart. With its advantages of high imaging quality and strong real-time performance, it has been widely used in recent years in surgeries such as atrial septal puncture, atrial fibrillation radiofrequency ablation, papillary muscle premature/ventricular rapid ablation, patent foramen ovale occlusion, atrial septal defect occlusion, transaortic valve implantation, mitral valve clamp/dilation, left atrial appendage occlusion, etc. Especially in Europe and America, atrial septal puncture is a necessary surgical procedure in ICE.
